The Department of Medicine established 32 years back. Department offers MBBS, MD, Fellowship Programme with faculty strength of 17. All faculty are MD in General Medicine with added Superspeciality like one Cardiologist, two Nephrologist, One Haematologist, two Gastroenterologist and one Rheumatologist. Additionally department is immensely benefitted with service of department of Chest and TB. Department has intake capacity of 13 Post Graduate Students per year. Along with general treatment, department also provide advance treatment modality like hemodialysis unit, Endoscopy unit, Echocardiography, Holter, Treadmill test, Pulmonary function test, Bronchoscopy. Department has well equipped advanced ICU. In addition to college Library department has its own digital library and book library. More than 80 students passed out with MD Degree from department. All of them are well settled, most of them completed DM, DNB in various fields such as Cardiology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology. Some of the prominent alumni of the department are:
