The Department of Obstetrics And Gynecology has established a centre for higher risk pregnancies which are referred from different parts of kolhapur. We manage eclampsia, PPH, uterine inversions, ruptured ectopic pregnancy, covid positive patients who are referred from other hospitals.
We have dedicated high dependency unit consisting of 6 beds with high trained staff and equipments for the patients who need close monitoring we have separate isolation ward for covid 19 patients.
Department also provides services in painless labour with labour analgesia in collaboration with the department of Anesthesiology.
