Surgery :
The department of surgery was established in 1989 and started with post graduation seats in 2016. Over the past 32 years the department has evolved from being general surgery unit to one that has an umbrella of all surgical super specialties baring cardiac surgeries.
Experienced faculties with ample teaching experience ensures standard of care to all the patients and an experiential learning to the undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Super speciality surgery is in the field of neurosurgery, urosurgery, vascular surgery, paediatric surgery oncosurgery are regularly performed in the department.
The newly established high-fidelity skill lab is a boom to improve surgical skills not only of the students but of the faculty as well.
Over the last 15 years over 50 students have completed their post graduation training from the institute. Today most of them have done super specialities and are well-established. To name a few.
